These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BAD-CITIZEN website and any purchases made through it. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website.

1. About Us

BAD-CITIZEN is an independent creative brand offering original artwork, limited edition prints, clothing and selected lifestyle products.

Throughout these Terms, "we", "our" and "us" refer to BAD-CITIZEN.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to place an order through our website.

3. Products

We aim to describe our products as accurately as possible.

Please note:

Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.
Handmade artwork may contain natural variations.
Limited editions may differ slightly due to the production process.
Product photographs are illustrative.

Every piece is created with care, but minor variations should be expected and celebrated.

4. Pricing

All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before dispatch. VAT will be included where applicable.

5. Orders

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders where:

payment cannot be authorised
stock is unavailable
pricing errors occur
fraudulent activity is suspected

If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued.

6. Payment

Payment is processed securely through our payment providers. We do not store your payment card information. Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout.

7. Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout. Estimated delivery times are guides only and cannot be guaranteed. BAD-CITIZEN is not responsible for delays caused by:

customs
postal services
weather
strikes
events outside our control

Risk passes to the customer once the order has been delivered.

8. International Orders

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or import fees charged by their country. BAD-CITIZEN is not responsible for customs delays.

9. Returns

If you change your mind, you may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order in accordance with UK consumer law.

Returned items must be:

unworn
unused
in original packaging
in resaleable condition

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty. Refunds will be processed once the returned goods have been inspected.

10. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot usually be returned unless faulty:

original artwork
commissioned artwork
personalised items
digital downloads
limited edition products where clearly stated

This does not affect your statutory rights.

11. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund where appropriate.

12. Intellectual Property

All artwork, illustrations, graphics, logos, photography, designs, branding, videos, written content and creative concepts displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of BAD-CITIZEN unless otherwise stated. Purchasing artwork or clothing does not transfer copyright.

You may not:

reproduce artwork
copy designs
modify graphics
create NFTs from our artwork
use our content commercially
reproduce products for resale

without prior written permission.

13. Artist Rights

Original artworks remain protected by copyright even after purchase.

Collectors purchase ownership of the physical artwork only.

The artist retains all reproduction rights unless agreed otherwise in writing.

14. Limited Editions

Where products are advertised as limited editions, production numbers will be stated where applicable.

Once sold out, they may not be reproduced in the same format, although BAD-CITIZEN reserves the right to create future works based on similar artistic themes.

15. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

misuse the website
interfere with website security
upload malicious software
attempt unauthorised access
use automated bots without permission
infringe our intellectual property

16. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using our website you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described there.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BAD-CITIZEN shall not be liable for:

indirect losses
consequential losses
loss of profits
business interruption
loss of opportunity

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

18. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, pandemics, industrial disputes or supply chain disruption.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on this website.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
